Thank you for your interest in the National Association of Evangelicals Commission on Chaplains and Military Personnel. Your desire to support those who serve our country and our great God is commendable. Together, with its member churches and denominations, the NAE Chaplains’ Commission is the largest endorsing body for chaplains in the United States armed forces. The Commission currently has over 700 active military chaplains serving all over the world as well as numerous chaplains serving in civilian institutions throughout the nation.
The Commission was formed in 1944 to assist evangelical chaplains in the military. We are an approved ecclesiastical endorsing agent for the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and numerous civilian agencies. Not only do we provide endorsement, but we also are dedicated to ongoing support of our chaplains via retreats in the United States and Europe for chaplains and their families, training events for chaplain candidates, and resources for churches that support or are interested in supporting chaplains.
Become a Chaplain – Serve as a missionary and pastor to the men and women of our armed forces and civil institutions.
